Due to some unsavory weather conditions, a certain mountain ski resort will not be open today.
The Shames Mountain ski resort is being closed down today due to Arctic Outflow Temperatures in the area making it feel like it’s -30 with the wind chill and the forecast for the area has the weather only getting slightly better as the day goes on.
However, the resort’s staff and management did make it clear that they hope to re-open for both tomorrow and the weekend since temperatures are likely to get a bit better.
