With the second anniversary of BC’s first Covid case approaching fast, the province’s top doctor marked the occasion with some more health order changes.
Dr Bonnie Henry announced today that BC’s vaccine card program will be extended through June 30th, for all residents aged 12 and up.
But, Dr Henry says she will review the situation as it develops, and may end up lifting the mandate earlier, if plausible.
In addition, Dr Henry has given the green light for youth sports tournaments to resume on February 1st, so long as all other health orders are followed.
However, for the time being, adult sports tournaments are still off the table.
