Due to a number of thefts from unattended vehicles being reported in Fort St John, local RCMP are reminding residents to lock their vehicles if they aren’t using them.
From this morning, police received 4 reports of theft or attempted theft from vehicles in addition to two reports from yesterday.
These reports have come from areas ranging from 83 to 87th Avenue and 86 to 89th Street.
Fort St John’s RCMP are encouraging residents to practice locking their vehicles when they leave it and to double check it before going to bed.
