CityWest’s telecommunication network was down temporarily in Terrace and the surrounding areas on Friday afternoon, with the outage beginning around 3:00pm.
In a notice posted on their website, CityWest said all their services had been impacted in multiple communities.
Outage reports for the Telus network started to trickle in via Downdetector.ca shortly after 3pm, with CityWest confirming their network was experiencing an issue via social media at 3:15pm.
CityWest says all services have since been restored, though there’s still no word on what caused the outage.
