Water restrictions in the Village of Fraser Lake put in place following Sunday’s major fire have now been lifted.
A notice posted on the Village website explains the reservoir has recovered back to around 70% of its total capacity, and water systems are now fully operational.
Earlier this week, Fraser Lake Mayor Sarrah Storey noted the reservoir had dropped to as low as 12%, requiring residents to conserve water and postpone or cut back on things like laundry and showers.
