The Tribal Nation Tournament also known as TNT will be taking place today Thursday July 30th
33 teams from coast to coast nation to nation will be coming to Terrace to hit the court and fight the right to play in the championship game on Sunday August 2nd.
The tournament was known as the Terrace River boat days open basketball it was an annual event for 6 years.
It almost came to a halt but Conrad Lewis the organizer for TNT decided to keep it alive.
Lewis explains on how he got the tournament to keep going.
“I got word that, the previous organizers, weren’t able to continue on,
so I got a whole pile of texts and tags from people who knew me as the, basketball
organizer of the other tournament for seventeen years and the Christmas tournament for
twenty four years. And so when I got tagged, I took a look at it and I said, you know what?

There will also be opening ceremonies that will take place tonight Thursday July 30th at 6:15pm at Caledoia.
