A second-degree murder charge has been laid against a BC man in connection with the 2018 homicide of 31 year old Rodney Clement in Quesnel.
On November 8th 2018, Clement was dropped off at G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital as he was suffering significant injuries.
He passed away in result of his injuries, with investigators determined his death was the result of foul play.
Since 2018, E Division Major Crime Special Projects Unit has continued to pursue this investigation, with support from the Quesnel RCMP, North District Major Crime, and specialized police units from throughout the province.
On Saturday August 22nd BC Prosecution Service approved a charge of second-degree murder against 54-year-old Shane Edison Fralic of Quesnel, in connection with Clement’s death.
“For nearly eight years, our investigators have remained committed to seeking answers in Rodney Clement’s death,” – Superintendent Bal Hansra, Acting Officer in Charge of E Division Major Crime.
