According to a recent news release, Prince Rupert is going to be adding two new electric vehicle chargers to their recreation complex.
These chargers are being installed as part of the Charge North network, which is placing these chargers all across Northern BC and the ones at the rec complex will be known as Level two stations.
Level two stations have been said to add 30-40 kilometres of range per hour of charging and these ones are the second set to be installed in Northern BC, with the first ones being located across from Mariner’s Park.
The stations also come as part of Charge North’s current mission to put over 58 charging stations in 31 communities such as Masset and Fort Nelson.
