On-going mechanical issues are forcing School District 82 to cancel a number of additional bus runs in the Thornhill and Hazelton areas.
Meanwhile, runs 12, 14, and 15, which cover more of the Thornhill area, are being cancelled until future notice.
Similar mechanical challenges are also forcing the cancellation of Gitsegukla run 27 today, with students being picked up by runs 23 and 24.
Last month, the district announced temporary mergers of their Old Remo and Queensway trips into run 4, and their Lakelse Lake and Jackpine routes into run 6.
A request for proposals to provide maintenance services for their fleet over the next 3 years was put out by the District earlier this month.
