In Smithers, BC, authorities have made a major development in a homicide case from last year. Sylvester Gordon Joseph has been charged with Second-Degree Murder in connection with the shooting death of a man on September 8, 2023.
The shooting occurred outside a residence, and the victim, found in a vehicle, later died at the hospital.
After a thorough investigation, the BC Prosecution Service approved the charges, and a warrant was issued. Joseph was arrested without incident in Kelowna on September 6, 2024.
