Resolutions passed last Saturday, December 13
The OneBC Party Board of Directors passed two special resolutions over the weekend that led to the removal of Dallas Brodie as interim leader and the launch of an external investigation.
According to documents dated Saturday, December 13, the board was advised of multiple unauthorized attempts to gain access to OneBC party assets. These included security systems, communications software, and party databases. The resolution states the attempts were linked to agents instructed by Brodie.
The board also confirmed that MLA Tara Armstrong formally notified directors that she had lost confidence in Brodie’s leadership.
As a result, the board directed the party’s executive director to commission an external investigation into the alleged access attempts and voted to remove Brodie as interim leader of OneBC.
In a separate resolution passed the same day, the board amended the party constitution. The amendment gives the board authority to act through a special resolution if 50 percent or more of the party’s MLAs notify directors that they no longer have confidence in the party leader.
Both resolutions list four directors: Dallas Brodie, Tim Thielmann, Paul Ratchford, and Tara Armstrong. The documents state that quorum for a special resolution requires three of the four directors.
The resolutions were dated for reference as December 13, 2025, and became public following the weekend decisions.
