Staffing challenges have interrupted Emergency Department services at the Nats’oojeh Hospital in Fort St. James, with the closure officially beginning at 4 p.m. today.
Northern Health says Emergency Department services will be unavailable until at least 8 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, March 10th.
For the time being, those in need of emergency life saving care should still call 9-1-1 for transport to the nearest available facility, while those with non-urgent needs have been asked to check-in with their family practitioner, or to consider availing of an online virtual clinic.
