Environment Canada has said a period of elevated temperatures is expected starting today will Wednesday.
With Daytimes highs expected to be in the low 30’s with overnight lows in the mid teens.
With maximum temps may persist until Wednesday, followed by a cooling trend.
Watch for the effects of heat illness: heavy sweating, rash, cramps, fainting, high body temperature and the worsening of some health conditions.
Meanwhile there is an air quality warring for the Peace Region, In the Cariboo and Central Interior, and for the Bulkley Valley and Lakes. Environment Canada is saying, Smoke is causing very poor air quality and reduced visibility.
