A fire that sparked near Prince Rupert on Saturday night is now listed as being held, as it has burned less than a hectare.
It’s still prompting single lane alternating traffic on the Highway about 44 kilometers east of the City, near the Khyex River.
A helicopter is working the fire, and the Wildfire Service is only listing it as a rank 1 or 2 fire, or a low-intensity ground fire.
The official cause of the fire is till under investigation.
