Prince George RCMP say they were called to DP Todd Secondary School on 444 Hill Avenue in relation to a bomb threat received at the school around 1:00 p.m. today, Wednesday October 7th.

Officials said all students and staff are safe, and students were dismissed from Heritage Elementary at 2 p.m. DP Todd Secondary remains closed at this time.
“We take all threats to public safety very seriously, especially when they involve one of our schools. Out of an abundance of caution, staff and students at the school have been evacuated from the building while police officers conduct their investigation. We are asking that the public stays out of the area so that first responders can conduct their work safely,” – Corporal Jennifer Cooper, BCRCMP Spokesperson for Northern B.C.
RCMP say this investigation is still in the beginning stages with many details yet to be determined. Further updates may be provided as they become available.
