Food service and support workers at a workers camp in Kemano have voted to ratify a new collective agreement.
100 percent of employees for Compass Eurest Support Services working at the Kemano Staff House voted yes to the agreement.
Under the new agreement, first cooks will make just over 33 dollars and hour, while camp attendants will earn 28.48 per hour.
In addition, the new agreement acknowledges Truth and Reconciliation Day on September 30th as a paid stat holiday.
